As we enter the deep stillness of winter and our holiday season, now is the time to really slow things down
and be present with ourselves and our families. During this time of giving don't get stuck on physical gifts,
offer your love and support, offer your presence...physical gifts may make our lives easier for a time and
the gift of a heart centered hug, an 'I love you' will be carried through time.
The Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year is coming. As we are nearing the 21st and our daylight
wanes, this is the time for us to go into our darker or hidden places and to take some long hard looks at why
these things are buried. To the Inca, the Winter Solstice, the return of light is a day of great celebration, after
this day we gain more and more light day by day. After the solstice, take time each day to shine light into all
of yourself bringing those buried parts of yourself to the light.
The image at the top of the page is of Wilca Uta(the Place of Divinity), it is a sacred and very special place on the shores of Lake Titicaca. This portal, doorway leads to places not seem by ones physical eyes yet felt by ones heart, ones spirit, ones soul. Each moment we are meeting portals, not seen by our eyes though present, are you willing to meet and walk through those portals and let the magic flow forth? As we are present in the moment and doing our work, living our service...the portals and potentials come more and more quickly, keep your intentions clear, live from your heart and walk through these portals, what you will discover in the process is so extraordinary, out of this world and yet here in it.

The mineralogical kingdom is constantly giving to us, offering all that it holds without any limitations or expectations about how the offerings will be used. In honor of these offerings, send gratitude to Pachamama(Mother Earth), to your crystals and stones, to all of nature. Offering back to your crystals and minerals by working with them consciously: hold them in meditation, carry them on you during the day, sleep with them...open to the full potential that the mineralogical kingdom gifts us.
My favorite thing to do when I come across a new crystal or stone being friend is to place lay down, place it on my heart and open my heart to greater and greater levels...really getting into what this being is offering me. I may do this just for a moment or hours may go by with this friend there. Once I have a knowing(heart clarity) about what it is bringing me, and have knowings of how it will want to be used in my aligning work. I then introduce this new being to the other beings that I am the temporary steward of, let them mingle and pass on their gifts and information to each other.
It is so easy to want to keep your mineralogical friends for your whole life and being a temporary steward means that if a crystal or stone wants to go on its way, we need to let it...pass it on to a friend, offer it to Pachamama. Make sure you listen to the guidance that is coming in, for me the cost of this being doesn't come into play, they are always passed on as gifts. That is a special way to honor yourself and the mineralogical being at the same time. One of my favorite beings is now in the depths of Lake Titicaca, our connection is still there and its service has exponentially expanded.
